Comm352: Blog2: Steve Jobs Patent

Just from reading the title of the article I knew that the issue had to do with patents product software or ideas; not be permitted to be shared or accessed by other companies not authorized by Apple Inc.
Basically what i got form the reading is that Steve Job doesn't want any company or any partner company to steal or take any content or info or etc that was not given permission to in the license. Job is basically doing to other companies what Microsoft does to Apple. Job is just making sure other companies use what was given to them and nothing more. There was also a conflict about other companies trying to or recruiting employees of Apple Inc, and I understand where job is coming from on that note because that is not a fair business model. I don’t believe that if someone has the right to do business with you and then turn your back and go hire some of you employees and research groups. It is all a business issue that Jobs was trying to enforce, which states that it is against Apples' policy to hire from their groups or to steal/take info or etc that were not authorized in the agreement. One other thing that Jobs was stating is that companies that work with them need to know the difference between a license and a patient. Some of the main issues came forth because people were not operating according to their licenses and some acted like they had bought the whole patent. I feel that Jobs and the Apple team were right and totally justified. Plus I think Jobs is a good businessman all round.
