Music Videos - Analysis of the Women Actor(actress)

Music Videos
notorious big - (1)mo money mo problems, (2)hypnotized, (3)nasty girl

I don't fully agree with this guy from the movie because he is making the job of the females in music videos seem negative. Depending on the artist or the type of song, the roles of the female counterparts are not always offensive to women. The artists and songs in the music videos that were being examine were mostly all rock videos. Some of those artists were overly obsessed with the opposite sex. It was merely the wildly obscene fantasy of immature rockstars and not the music video that is objectifying the female body. All male artist and types of music videos do not disrespect the female. Some artists and their videos don't use the act of a woman devaluing their selves. The narrator said that the music industry uses sex and slutty women in the music video to sell and i do not think that is true. I believe that the women are in the video to accompany the male artist, make the video look better, and make the male artist look good. The female actor of a music video is also there to entertain the audience. The male artist makes the directors of the music videos seem like bad people when they are only doing what the artist ask. The women in the music videos aren't degrading themselves they are just playing as the girlfriend, lover, spouse or partner of the artist. In some videos the random girl can make the male artist look dumb and immature depending on the theme of the video and song.
